Luv U More, Inc is a nonprofit organization founded out of the acknowledged necessity for the availability of more organizations to assist the families of children and the children themselves born with congenital liver disease.
Luv U More was founded in memory of my niece Taniya Keshon Fisher. Taniya was born with a congenital liver disease called Biliary Atresia, which is a relatively rare condition and the exact cause is unknown. There is no cure for biliary atresia, only treatment through a surgical procedure called Kasai. Taniya underwent this surgery at 2 weeks old and for the most part it was successful, however even with a successful surgery most patients will still need a liver transplant.
Love U More inspires hope by providing emotional and financial support to families of children born with liver disease, through integrated mental health assistance and education.
Our vision is to be a company that caters to the needs of families and children facing the challenges that come with congenital liver disease. Giving them an outlet that will not only educate but also provide comfort and compassion during some of the most difficult times of their lives. We desire for the children and young adults to live so liver disease is just one part of who they are. We want them to live a life beyond the limits of their disease.
